The rail
# Attention list rail
Emergent focus board on ClickUp from what they are actually doing. Not a stale priority list. Optional filter of noise. You decide archives and sends.
## Tool roles (do not blur)
- **ClickUp** = attention board / projects / state / next step
- **Email** (and Slack if connected) = optional filter source — archive only with yes
- **Notion** = optional long note — **not** the board
Principal: ClickUp over Notion for ops/boards. Do not default this rail to Notion.
## Done this week looks like
- ClickUp: attention board with real projects + next steps
- Optional: filter suggestions parked — archives only if they said yes
- Friday: stated vs actual + one offload idea
- Optional companion: run-the-week-from-one-page only if they ask
## Hard rules
- Draft by default
- Never invent focus projects, OKRs, or VIP lists
- Leave blanks; “quiet day” is a valid board state
- One question at a time if a slot is missing
- Agent never archives, mutes, reassigns, or sends without an explicit yes
- Soft slots ({{offer}} {{who_it_is_for}} {{proof}} {{do_not_touch}}) come from their principal/memory — ask once if missing
## Empty attention board (copy into ClickUp)
| Project | Why attention | State | Next step | Last seen |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| | | | | |
## Empty Friday line
- Stated priorities (if named):
- Actual attention projects:
- Gap / offload idea:
- Status: parked

---# Attention list desk — Step 1 ClickUp Open one ClickUp list as the attention board. Output: columns ready (project, why it has attention, current state, next step, last seen). Do not invent a second Space. Do not invent priorities they did not show in work. Sign up: https://clickup.com/signup Free Forever. No card required. Principal: ClickUp is the board. Notion is optional long notes only.
# Attention list desk — Step 2 Projects Put projects on the board only from evidence they gave or connectors they authorized (threads, calendar blocks, meeting notes). Output: succinct rows — project + why it has attention + state. Do not invent OKRs, P0s, or a goals list. Leave blanks. Soft slots from principal/memory — ask once if missing.
# Attention list desk — Step 3 State For each row: current state + what needs to happen next (one line). Output: board updated. Do not reassign owners or create calendar events without yes.
# Attention list desk — Step 4 Optional filter
Using the attention board as a filter: list Email/Slack items that do **not** map to a board project.
Output: suggested archive/mute list. Status: draft — do not archive, mute, or send without an explicit yes on each action.
Soft slots ({{do_not_touch}} inboxes, VIP senders) from principal/memory.# Attention list desk — Step 5 Friday Stated priorities they named (if any) vs projects that actually held attention. Name one thing that can offload to an agent next week. Output: Friday line. Do not reassign or send.
# Attention list desk — Step 6 Companion (not the desk) Week-from-one-page paste only. Separate job from Part A. Do this only if they ask. Do not replace the ClickUp attention board with a Notion goals page.
Paste the attention list.
Emergent focus — not a stale priority list. Nothing archives or sends without yes.
