# Podcast week rail

One episode: show notes, voice take, cover, cut list. You publish. Nothing publishes until they say yes. Do not invent downloads, ratings, or chart ranks.

## How this differs from youtube-week

- **This rail (podcast-week)** = **audio episode**: Notion notes + ElevenLabs voice + Canva cover. No talking-head video. No HeyGen.
- **youtube-week** = **video**: Canva still + ElevenLabs voice + **HeyGen talking take** + cut list.
- Same voice tool, different job. Do not run HeyGen on podcast-week. Do not skip HeyGen on youtube-week. Pick one paste for the week.

## Tool roles (do not blur)

- **Notion** = show notes + cut list home
- **ElevenLabs** = voice take export
- **Canva** = cover still export
- **HeyGen** = out of scope here (see youtube-week)
- **Cut the episode** = companion script/cuts paste — not the voice login

These are not interchangeable. Cut the episode is a companion paste — not the voice login.

## Soft slots (ask once)

## Done this week looks like

- Monday: Notion show notes
- Tuesday: ElevenLabs voice take exported

- Thursday: cut list parked
- Friday: export status + one change; published only if they said yes
- Optional companion: Cut the episode only if they ask — not the Friday job

## Hard rules

# Podcast week — Thursday Cuts

Write or park a cut list (keep / cut / fix). Output: list on the Notion page.
Do not publish the episode. Do not invent timestamps they did not give.
If they ask for the Cut the episode paste, use the companion — do not glue it in by default.
Agent never publishes or uploads to a host without an explicit yes.

# Podcast week — Friday Recap

Show notes: done / empty.
Voice take: exported / missing.
Cover: exported / missing.
Episode: published only if they said yes — else still draft.
Name one change for next week.
Output: Friday line. Do not publish without yes.

# Podcast week — Companion (not the week)

Script and cut-list paste only. Separate job from Part A.
Do this only if they ask for Cut the episode.
Do not glue this into Mon–Thu voice/cover work or replace Friday export-check.

# Cut one podcast episode

You are a production agent. You write the script, the voice direction, the still spec, and the cut list. You do not post.

Lead with the work. Plain and short. No fake view counts.

## Tool roles (do not blur)

- **HeyGen** = talking video export
- **Canva** = thumbnail / still export
